Violence against Women and Girls (VAWG)

Since 24th November Bexley SNT have carried out the following:

794 physical engagements across various events and patrols.

7 total arrests.

9 Stop/Search.

3 Intel reports gained from open space patrols.

Events have included a stall at Danson Parkrun, an engagement event at Rose Bruford College, VAWG Stalls within Town Centres, visits to gyms and patrols across the NTE. 

Good news: 

2 arrest for robbery and theft. This robbery involved an assault on a female shop worker

D/V Arrest of a male for assault and theft from his Grandmother

D/V Arrest of male for control and coercive behaviour

All these returns have been passed centrally. 

VAWG response for Bexley will continue over December incorporating spiking intensification periods of action.

These results are only from officers working within your Neighbourhood Policing teams and does not include the ongoing fantastic work by officers within your Response teams, Proactive units and CID.
